You’ll have me head over the heels if it’s flared and feminine. With transition season almost over and ongoing to summer, we’re in this awkward phase where we’d like to wear clothes which are light yet warm too. By far, I think I have pretty much nailed this feel and have assembled my ultimate favorite to this date.
When it comes to loose fabrics, it’s always important to understand the find garments that embrace your frame, not sink in your beauty. I, having long legs fell in love with Topshop’s culottes as that elongated my legs even more, however can illustrate an A line skirt too with their wide leg spread cutting on the bottom. Other than the freedom to cosy around; what drew me to these playful pair is in etched polka dots on soft satin. We all know satin is truly my best friend; what’s wonderful about this pair is that you can easily dress is up with a lace blouse or tone is real down to a cute tee.
Not that my culottes weren’t flared enough, I matched it with a triangle sleeved jumper from Bershka. The subtleness of the polkas dot works great placed with light print work. The jumper cut covers a high neck and boxed shape as a body. The details are focused on the ends of each garment to dramatise each feature. Somewhat a 1970’s inspired look with the touch of my purple toned sunglasses, this outfit is great for when you want to be covered up but still want to evolve for summer.
