They say the first 7 seconds determines your entire impression of someone, in this case… something. After countless amount of post I’d seen on social media about Mia Laurens Paris’s nail vanishes, I knew they would be a hit this season! What enticed me even more was knowing they are a complete no no in using chemicals, and brand themselves as warriors against the followings: Dibutyl Phthalate, Formaldehyde, Toluene, Formaldehyde Resin and Camphor.

Wrapped elegantly and delicately, MIA Laurens Paris sure do know how to put a smile on a women’s face! With 45 shades to choose from, it was near enough impossible to decide which one I wanted. But, after carefully mind mapping my options, I chose to sample Rosewood, and inspired by the beautiful festivities the shade Pine Forest. The gift box also included the base coat and top coat.

I’m very much an inpatient person when it comes to watching paint dry so I usually skip the base coat part. However, this base coat is everything I’ve ever missed, and regretfully wish I knew about MIA Laurens Paris range earlier. A base coat aims to keep your nail vanish lasting longer, and it prevents your nails from getting that horrid yellow undertone due to the harsh colours and chemicals. The nail vanishes lasted for around a week , with no chips! Amazing, I know! And what better way to finish your glam nails then a gel top coat to keep it lasting EVEN longer! Who needs a mirror when your finger tips are just as reflective with MIA Laurens Paris gel top coat!

This winter season, it’s sprinkling with soft dusty pastels! Pastels have always been a familiar shade in spring, however a new trend is lurking and it looks like it’s here to stay for good! Dusty pastels are a combination of pale vibrant colours, with a hint of smokiness. MIA Laurens Paris’s Rosewood caught my eye straight away! The colour was extremely flattering, and gave that girly but not cliché girly look. Great for the subtle look, and perfect to wear with a glamorous glittery statement piece.

I’m skipping the classic red this Christmas, and heading straight to Pine Forest.  Although I envy all who pull of green so well, I’ve not had much luck in the past. But to my surprise, this green literally is the perfect shade for my hands. It doesn’t look like the standard gimmicky green, rather so it looks like a royal dark green. This colour can also drawn into early spring when you need add that extra bold touch to your basics.
